♦ Mindfulness & Trauma ♦
Research is showing increasing evidence that mindfulness practice is helpful in healing from all kinds of trauma. This free 1-hour webinar is on the ways mindfulness can benefit the healing process of survivors of violence against women. We will cover basic principles of mindfulness, some of the brain science of trauma and mindfulness, and will include teachings on simple meditation practices that help us to recognize and nurture the mind’s natural qualities of awareness, mindfulness.

Danya Daccash, RMSW is a cross-cultural feminist therapist who weaves together ancient wisdom such as mindfulness, modern scientific discoveries, and a grassroots feminist approach to optimize women’s healing. Photo Card Fundraiser: Danya is selling photo cards featuring photography of Awe-inspiring scenery from her summers on a Rockies Fire Tower. All profits fund scholarships for sexual violence therapy for low income women.
